What is Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy?

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is medicine's most efficient method of transporting
oxygen to cells throughout the body. At this center, HBOT is administered to a person in
a pressurized
100% air environment and 100% oxygen is delivered via a hood or mask.
It's history dates back to 1622.  For the past forty years of so, hyperbaric oxygenation
has been utilized worldwide.

  • HBOT is a highly effective treatment with a long history of positive results as an
    outcome-based therapy.

  • HBOT is one of the safest, non-invasive most natural medications available.

  • HBOT works well with other treatments - i.e., physical therapy, occupational
    therapy, and nutrition.

  • HBOT is noninvasive -- it does not involve having to enter the patients body.

  • HBOT is safe -- it has few side effects and almost none of any lasting nature.

What Benefits can be achieved by using HBOT?

Very simply, HBOT is breathing 100% oxygen under pressure, which allows oxygen to be
diffused into the plasma and saturated into the body tissues, and may result in the
following benefits:

  • Increased oxygenation to tissues
  • Greater blood vessel formation
  • Reduced swelling (edema)
  • Enhanced wound healing
  • Simulation new bone formation
  • Reducing effects of toxic substances
