and the American College of Hyperbaric Medicine (ACHM), and most times are covered by medical
insurance are:

  • Carbon monoxide poisoning
  • Necrotizing soft tissue infections
  • Exceptional blood loss (Anemia)
  • Decompression sickness (Bends)
  • Intracranial abscesss/Actinolycosis
  • Acute traumatic ischemias
  • Compartment syndrome
  • Delayed radiation and chemotherapy tissue damage and injury
  • Dental surgery (pre- and post-surgery)
